As a Nurse Practitioner, I saw how healthcare can be limited for conditions that are exacerbated by stress. Conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia and overeating for example.
I studied the effects of mindfulness and yoga on medical and mental health. Eventually I became both a mindfulness and yoga instructor and brought these practices to my health center. While effective, some people still suffered, especially those with chronic pain.
Although skeptical of alternative medicine, I saw a Reiki practitioner. During the first session, I felt a deep sense of calm and peace, unlike anything I had experienced before. Reiki even decreased my chronic pain. I dove into the history and teachings, to learn how to access this healing modality myself.
Reiki, yoga and mindfulness have profoundly improved my life. I would be honored to help you find peace and balance in YOUR life.
